MOSCOW, November 7. /TASS/. Saudi oil company Saudi Aramco sells more than 75% of its oil to Asian countries, the company's CFO Ziad Thamer Al-Murshed told a conference call with investors.

"As for our sales, more than 75% actually is going to Asia. And so, we are able to benefit from that recovery [of their economy]," he said.

Al-Murshed noted that the growth in demand for oil in the third quarter will be from 1.3 mln to 2 mln barrels per day.

"The growth came from better economic activity in Asia. And we expect the trend to continue for the rest of the year with most forecasters forecasting demand by the end of the year to 104 mln barrels per day," the top manager of the Saudi company added.

According to him, in China "specifically demand growth in the third quarter came from transport fuels and expended construction activity." He noted that these factors are expected to continue supporting the growth in the next quarter.

"India’s demand also contributed to growth in the third quarter mainly in transports fuels and industrial demand which we expect to continue in the fourth quarter," he said.
