Russia to maintain volume of LNG exports at last year’s level

ST. PETERSBURG, November 1. /TASS/. Russia this year will maintain the volume of LNG exports at last year’s level, Energy Minister Nikolay Shulginov told reporters.
"LNG exports in 2023 will remain at last year’s levels," the minister said, emphasizing that this plan is still in effect despite the repairs carried out this year at Russian LNG plants.
"The market is good, the demand is great, it is important for us to provide technological capabilities," he added.
Earlier, the forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development reported that LNG exports from Russia at the end of 2023 will grow by 1.2% to 33.3 mln tons. At the same time, LNG exports in 2024 are projected at 38 mln tons, in 2025 - 40 mln tons, in 2026 - 44 mln tons.
