Technonicol does not plan selling assets in Europe
Technonicol also had two plants in the United Kingdom which were sold after worsening of the attitude of authorities towards the corporation
KRASNY SULIN, October 26. /TASS/. Technonicol is not considering plans of divesting its assets in Italy, Germany, Lithuania and Poland, division head of the Russian roofing and thermal insulation materials producer Vasily Tkachev told reporters.
"We are litigating with the government of Poland now," Tkachev said. "This is because the asset was seized, frozen, and an external administrator was introduced. The attitude is smoother in other locations - these are Lithuania, Germany and Italy. Our business there is successful and, so to say, does not require any financing, is self-supporting. There are loyal consumers," the executive said.
"No plans [to sell these assets] so far," Tkachev noted. Technonicol also had two plants in the United Kingdom which were sold after worsening of the attitude of authorities towards the corporation.
