MOSCOW, October 25. /TASS/. Sales of China’s Ora brand electric vehicles started in Russia with the Ora 03 model, department director of Haval Motor Rus Alexander Zubik said at a press conference.

The brand is the member of the Great Wall Motor (GWM) group.

The model is presented in two versions in Russia. The electric vehicle’s price tag is 3.9 mln ($41,800) for the standard version and 4 mln rubles ($42,800) for the Ora 03 GT sports version.

Sales of hybrid cars under the Wey brand, which is also a GWM member, will start in Russia in early 2024.

According to the company’s presentation, GWM portfolio brands sold 84,500 cars in Russia in January - September 2023, up 2.5 times above sales in 2022. 73,600 Haval cars, 7,600 Tank cars, and 3,500 Great Wall pickups were sold.
