Russian customs collects over $50.4 bln in 9M 2023 — news outlet

MOSCOW, October 25. /TASS/. The total amount of funds collected by the Russian Federal Customs Service over nine months of this year stood at more than 4.7 trillion rubles ($50.4 bln), acting head of the service Ruslan Davydov wrote in the op-ed for RBC news outlet.
"The customs assignment was performed by 100.1% in 2022; more than 6.2 trillion rubles ($66.4 bln) were remitted to the federal budget. As of the end of nine months, more than 4.7 trillion rubles were collected. This is more than a quarter from total revenues of the federal budget," the official said.
Exemptions (benefits, postpones, installment payments of customs fees, etc.) granted to the business last year totaled over 1.1 trillion rubles ($11.8 bln) last year and amounted to 395 bln rubles ($4.2 bln), the acting customs head said.
