Share of manufacturing in Russia’s GDP to rise to 13.8% in 2023 — PM

ASTANA, September 25. /TASS/. The share of manufacturing excluding oil refining and food industry in Russia’s GDP will rise to 13.8% in 2023, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a plenary session of the Innoprom forum in Astana.

"According to preliminary forecasts, the share of manufacturing in the structure of GDP will rise by 0.2 percentage points this year. Excluding oil refining and food industry it will reach 13.8%," he said.

Output in the segment of motor vehicles grew 1.5-fold in July year-on-year, while total growth in the manufacturing sector roughly equaled 10%, PM added.
