Polymetal shares up almost 3.5% on Moscow Exchange

MOSCOW, September 25. /TASS/. Shares of Polymetal, Russia's largest silver producer and one of the leading gold miners, grew by 3.47% as Monday trading started on Moscow Exchange to 542.5 rubles per share, according to trading data as of 10:04 a.m. Moscow time. Shares rose following the publication of the company’s results under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for 1H 2023.
As of 10:25 a.m. Moscow time Polymetal shares were up by 2.19% at 535.8 rubles per share.
Earlier, the company said that its adjusted net profit under International Financial Reporting Standards for the first half of 2023 amounted to $261 mln, up by 28% year-on-year. Adjusted EBITDA gained 31% to $559 mln, driven by higher sales volumes. The company's capital expenditures for the reporting period amounted to $375 mln compared to $373 mln a year earlier.
