MOSCOW, April 13. /TASS/. According to current projections by the Russian government, economic growth in the country will total around 1% in 2023 and will accelerate to 2% in 2024, a source familiar with the course of discussion told TASS on Thursday.
"The government’s projections suggest [growth - TASS] by around 1% this year and by 2% next year. Those are current projections, which have not been made official yet," the source said.
Earlier, Russian Economic Development Minister Maksim Reshetnikov said that the ministry expected economic growth in the country to exceed 0.1-0.2% this year. The Economic Development Ministry plans to present the revised outlook for social and economic development for 2023 in April.
