MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and Almaz-Antey holding are considering an opportunity of organizing production of E-Neva electric crossover at the ex-Toyota plant, Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov told reporters on Wednesday.

"We are considering the issue with E-Neva production at the former Toyota plant together with Almaz-Antey. The car production start is scheduled to 2026. Before that, options are in place to implement assembly with another automaker, so that to launch the production facility," Manturov said.

In late March 2023, the Toyota plant in St. Petersburg was transferred to the state. The agreement stipulated the complete transfer of the ownership title to plant building, equipment and land.
