MOSCOW, April 11. /TASS/. Proposals made by VTB CEO on a new round of privatization as well as other instruments of economic growth were not on the agenda of the meeting on economic matters held today by President Vladimir Putin, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS.

"No, [they] were not discussed," Peskov said, answering a question about whether such ideas were discussed during the closed part of the meeting.

The head of state suggested discussing the state of affairs in the real sector of the economy and the trends of key macro indicators when opening the meeting.

Kostin said earlier in an op-ed for the RBC news outlet that the transfer of state property to private ownership is a tool that has proven effective in the past.
