NEW YORK, April 10. /TASS/. US businessman and Twitter owner Elon Musk has changed his name on the social network to the nickname Harry Bolz.

Musk did not explain why he took such a step. Earlier, he wrote on his Twitter page that "impersonating others is wrong".

The American businessman has already taken a number of steps to combat attempts by users to impersonate others on Twitter since he became its owner in the fall of 2022. He has introduced a new user verification system and ordered accounts suspended for impersonation attempts.

Since Musk bought Twitter, a number of account owners have begun impersonating famous people who were reportedly unblocked or returned to Twitter after the company's ownership changed.
