Vietnam can start GAZ vehicles export — Russian official
Aleksey Gruzdev highlighted the pharmaceutical industry and transport infrastructure development when speaking about cooperation between Vietnam and Russia
HANOI, April 6. /TASS/. Vietnam can start exporting GAZ vehicles produced at its automobile assembly plant, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry Aleksey Gruzdev told reporters on Thursday.
The plant is making commercial vehicles and minibuses, the official noted.
"We paid particular attention to industrial cooperation. We already have a number of anchor pilot projects. In particular, the vehicle assembly facility of the GAZ group is operating in Vietnam," Gruzdev said. "Good prospects are in place not merely for deliveries to the domestic market but also from Vietnam <…> to markets of neighboring countries, he added.

We have a diverse agenda "meeting interests of our companies and sectors of the economy in many aspects and having the demand here, with Vietnamese counterparts," he added.
