SOFIA, April 5. /TASS/. Bulgaria introduces a ban on calls of vessels certified by the Russian maritime register of shipping to seaports and river ports of the country from midnight of April 8, the Bulgarian Maritime Administration said.

"The access into Bulgarian sea and river ports is forbidden for all vessels which are certified by the Russian maritime register of shipping, regardless of their flag of registry," the Marine Administration informed.

The prohibition of access is introduced on the basis of EU regulations, the Administration informed.
