Over two dozen Russian companies to exhibit their products at Vietnam Expo trade show

A business dinner will be one of the highlights of the Moscow delegation’s program at the trade show

HANOI, April 5. /TASS/. More than two dozen Russian companies will exhibit their products at a major international trade show, Vietnam Expo 2023, which opens on Wednesday in Hanoi. Around 370 enterprises and organizations from 15 countries will be represented at the event.

The Moscow City Government Department for External Economic and International Relations and the Russian Export Center (REC) are organizing the participation of Russian commercial structures in Vietnam Expo 2023.

The City of Moscow’s exhibition will feature 10 enterprises that are seeking to enter the Vietnamese market in such areas as IT, manufacturing, medicine and education. Among them are VisionLabs, one of the global leaders in the creation of products based on computer vision and computer-assisted learning; EligoVision, which is engaged in developing interactive 3D visualization and software, and augmented and virtual reality technologies; and Moscow Aviation Institute, one of Russia’s leading high-tech universities that trains engineering staff and is a leader in world-class scientific research focusing on aviation, aerospace, energy and IT systems.

A business dinner will be one of the highlights of the Moscow delegation’s program at the trade show. It will showcase traditional dishes of Russian cuisine, specially prepared by a team of Moscow chefs who have arrived in Hanoi and will serve dishes based on both traditional and contemporary recipes. Moreover, the program includes a presentation of cooperation opportunities for Moscow-based and Vietnamese entrepreneurs.

The REC’s exhibition, branded "Made in Russia," will showcase eight companies, representing a wide range of food products, technologies, construction materials, industrial equipment, transport and freight forwarding services, as well as various digital technology and e-commerce solutions. Moreover, the "Made in Russia" stands will host meetings and negotiations between representatives of business circles with potential partners from Southeast Asian countries, China, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Japan and a number of other countries.

Vietnam Expo is rated as one of the largest multi-sectoral exhibitions in the Southeast Asia region. It takes place annually with the support of the Vietnamese government.
