Kazakhstan’s GDP growth totals 4.3% in January-February, says minister

The country’s GDP growth equaled 5.6% in January 2023, and 3.1% in full 2022

ASTANA, March 14. /TASS/. Kazakhstan’s GDP growth reached 4.3% in January-February 2023 year-on-year, National Economic Minister Alibek Kuantyrov said at a government meeting on Tuesday.

"Kazakhstan’s economic growth rate totaled 4.3% in January-February of this year. Growth in the real sector of the economy amounted to 2.7%, in the sector of services - 5%. Positive dynamics was registered in all main sectors," he said.

The country’s GDP growth equaled 5.6% in January 2023, and 3.1% in full 2022. The authorities expect economic growth rate to be at least 4% by the end of this year.
