MINSK, March 13. /TASS/. Belarus and Iran have agreed to open direct flights between their capitals from March 26. Belarusian Minister of Transport and Communications Aleksey Avramenko announced on Monday.
He was talking to reporters following the talks between the presidents of Belarus and Iran in Tehran.
"From March 26, direct air communication Tehran - Minsk will be resumed. The Iranian airline Mahan Air will operate flights," he said as quoted by the BelTA news agency.
According to the minister, the flight will be conducted twice a week. He noted that this will contribute to the development of human and business contacts.
