MOSCOW, February 22. /TASS/. Mineral fertilizers production dropped by 10.7% year-on-year to 2 mln metric tons in terms of 100% nutrients in January 2023, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said on Wednesday.

Potash fertilizer output plummeted by 35.9% year-on-year to 0.6 mln metric tons. Phosphate fertilizer production gained 22.1% in this January and totaled 0.4 mln metric tons.

Nitrogen fertilizers had an uptick by 1.1% in the reporting month and stood at 1 mln metric tons.
