MOSCOW, February 14. /TASS/. Total renewable energy production capacities to be commissioned in Russia in 2023 will stand at 438 MW in 2023, the Russia Renewable Energy Development Association (RREDA) told TASS.
It is planned to commission 438 MW of renewable energy production capacities in 2023, 482 MW in 2024, and 1.25 GW in 2025. Thus the total volume will stand at 2.17 GW and installed capacity of facilities operating on the basis of renewable energy sources will reach 6.17 GW.
At the same time, 645 MW of solar, 1.45 GW of wind, and 128 MW of small-capacity hydropower plants will be brought on stream by the end of 2024, the Association said.
