New Gas Company opens up on Russian market, after merging Air Product’s former assets

The company's production sites in Perm, Kashira, Ramenskoye, Kaluga, Samara, and Voronezh, as well as its own plant for the production of industrial gases in the Rostov Region

MOSCOW, February 14. /TASS/. The new gas company NGCO, which was founded following the sale of Air Products' Russian assets to local management, has begun operations on the Russian market, the NGCO press service told TASS.

"New gas company - NGCO - has begun operations in Russia. The company was founded as a result of the sale of the Russian division of the global company - Air Products - the market leader among industrial gas producers - to the Russian division's local management. Following the deal, the local company will continue to meet all contractual commitments while developing new core businesses under the new NGCO brand - New Gas Company (ngco.pro)," the statement said.

The company's production sites in Perm, Kashira, Ramenskoye, Kaluga, Samara, and Voronezh, as well as its own plant for the production of industrial gases in the Rostov Region, will enable NGCO to consistently support customers by continuing the production of technical gases, as well as ensure the supply of equipment and the implementation of technical solutions for various industries such as oil refining and petrochemistry, metallurgy, electronics, and food industries, the company said.

Air Products is one of the world's leading manufacturers of industrial gases. Last summer, the company announced its intention to withdraw from its assets in Russia.
