Russia’s exports of grain products rise by 15% in 2022

MOSCOW, February 13. /TASS/. Russia's export of grain products increased by 15% in monetary terms in 2022 compared to 2021, according to the statement from the Federal Center for Export Development Agroexport under the Ministry of Agriculture.
"Grains are the base product of Russian agricultural exports - last year the supplies increased by 15% in monetary terms. Algeria raised imports 3.7-fold, Pakistan - 2.5-fold, China - by 78%, and Sudan - by 64%," Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sergey Levin was quoted in the statement.
According to him, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture abroad make a significant contribution to the development of exports. According to the results of 2021-2022, agricultural attaches provided assistance to 103 Russian companies - exporters of agricultural products.
