BANGKOK, February 10. /TASS/. The trade turnover between Russia and Thailand totaled $2 bln in 2022, Ambassador to Thailand Evgeny Tomikhin told TASS.

"We have to recognize that the trade turnover between Russia and Thailand declined last year but not catastrophically," the Ambassador said. "This was largely caused by technical complications, such as failures in logistics and transactions," Tomikhin noted.

"Last year’s trade volume was about $2 bln," the diplomat said, adding that these are data from the Russian Customs Service. "The contraction over the year as compared to 2021 was slightly less than 9%," he added.
