Belarus reports oil production above 1.8 mln metric tons in 2022 — Minister

In mid-December 2022, CEO of Belarusneft said that production growth against 2021 would be about 75,000 metric tons

MINSK, February 7. /TASS/. Belarus produced more than 1.8 mln metric tons of oil in 2022, Minister of Natural Resources Andrey Khudyk said in an interview with the BelTA news agency.

"In 2022, owing to the collaborative effort of our entities, oil production of 1.91 mln metric tons was achieved, which is 180,000 tons more than in 2016. Incremental growth of oil reserves totaled 2.15 mln metric tons - 390,000 metric tons above the last-year figure," the Minister said.

In mid-December 2022, CEO of Belarusneft said that production growth against 2021 would be about 75,000 metric tons.
