MOSCOW, February 1. /TASS/. The situation with oil production and exports is stable now, despite the recent restrictions imposed by Western countries, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said on the air with the Rossiya-24 TV Channel.

"Despite the decisions taken regarding the embargo on supplies to Europe and the price ceiling in effect since last December, the situation with Russian oil production and export is stable," the official said.

"Our companies have taken all the required measures, in the first instance to find new logistics chains and sales markets," Novak added.
