Moscow, Cairo to pay special attention to joint projects — Egypt’s Foreign Minister

It is noted that trade turnover between the two countries is growing

MOSCOW, January 31. /TASS/. Russia and Egypt will dedicate special attention to developing joint economic projects, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry said at a joint conference after talks with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.

"We agreed to focus, in particular, on the implementation of projects aimed at economic development," the Minister said. Such projects should be "brought to their logical end," with close attention paid to all phases of their execution, Shoukry said.

Trade turnover between the two countries is growing, Egypt's top diplomat noted. "Deliveries of specific goods serve as its foundation, and we aim at its further expansion," he added.
