Russian gold supplies to China up 67% in physical value in 2022 — Customs

Russian companies delivered 3.7 metric tons of raw gold and 2.96 mln metric tons of half-processed gold to China over twelve months
BEIJING, January 20. /TASS/. China’s procurements of Russian gold gained 67% year-on-year and reached 6.6 metric tons, the China’s Main Customs Administration said.
Country’s imports of this precious metal gained 63% year-on-year to $386.9 mln.
Russian companies delivered 3.7 metric tons of raw gold and 2.96 mln metric tons of half-processed gold to China over twelve months.
Russia is not the leading gold supplier to China. The top three positions are held by Switzerland ($34.14 bln), Canada ($14.67 bln) and South Africa ($8.3 bln).
