WASHINGTON, January 17. /TASS/. US sanctions imposed on Russia do not apply to agricultural commodities and clinical trials, the Department of the Treasury said in its General License 6C released on Tuesday.

This document replaces License 6B published in July 2022, the Treasury said. The new documents contains certain differences against the previous version. Transactions related to "(1) the production, manufacturing, sale, transport, or provision of agricultural commodities, agricultural equipment, medicine, medical devices, replacement parts and components for medical devices, or software updates for medical devices; (2) the prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of COVID-19 (including research or clinical studies relating to COVID-19); or (3) clinical trials and other medical research activities are authorized," the Treasury informed.

The effective term of License 6C is not specified.
