MOSCOW, January 16. /TASS/. The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has prepared a model taxonomy to ensure funding for green projects in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the EEC trade function said.

"The Eurasian Economic Commission, in cooperation with VEB.RF state corporation and the Center of Green Finance of the Astana International Financial Center, being national developers of taxonomies of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan, prepared green projects criteria for EAEU countries (model taxonomy)," the EEC said.

The purpose of preparing a model taxonomy is to stimulate and align the approaches of member-states as part of the systemic development of green funding instruments on the EAEU space and support of freedom of capital flows, EEC added.
