Oil storage facility on fire in western Russia’s Bryansk Region

There have been no reports of casualties so far, Governor Alexander Bogomaz said

MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/. Around 1,800 square meters of an oil storage facility are on fire in western Russia’s Bryansk Region, Governor Alexander Bogomaz said on Wednesday.

"Tanks with petroleum products are on fire in the Surazh District. Firefighting crews are working at the scene. The area of the fire is 1,800 square meters. <…> No casualties have been reported," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

More than 80 people and 30 equipment units, including a firefighting train, are involved in the operation to stamp out the fire. A local Emergencies Ministry aeromobile task force has also been dispatched to the site.
