MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. Russia’s oil supplies to China rose by 9.5% in ten months to 72 mln tons, Chief Executive Officer of Rosneft Igor Sechin said at the Russian-Chinese energy business forum on Tuesday, adding that Russia was the second-largest fuel supplier to China.
Rosneft is the main supplier of oil to the People’s Republic of China as it ensures around 7% of the country’s total demand.
"Total Russian oil exports to China rose by 9.5% in January-October year-on-year to almost 72 mln tons," Sechin said. It is slightly less than supplies by Saudi Arabia of over 73.8 mln tons, he added.
