Russian coal supplies to China total 53 mln tons in 10M 2022, says Rosneft CEO

MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. Russian coal exports to China totaled 53 mln tons in January-October 2022, Chief Executive Officer of Rosneft Igor Sechin said at the 4th Russian-Chinese energy business forum on Tuesday, adding that Russia was the second-largest supplier of coal to China.

"The supplies of high-quality Russian coal to China totaled 53 mln tonnes in ten months of 2022. This represents roughly 23% of China’s total imports, with Russia being second only after Indonesia," he said.
