Druzhba oil pipeline section in Ukraine partly stopped — Transneft
It is reported that pumping to Ukraine continues at the moment from the territory of Belarus
MOSCOW, November 23. /TASS/. The Ukrainian segment of the Druzhba oil pipeline partly halted operations, official spokesman of the Russian oil pipeline operator Transneft Igor Dyomin told TASS.
"The oil pipeline in Ukraine was stopped in part, as our partners said. Pumping to Hungary was stopped for as long as three days as scheduled and is to remain stopped for a week. Pumping to the Czech Republic and Slovakia from Budkovce continues as there is a tank farm with sufficient volumes stocked for the operation during several weeks," Dyomin said.
"Pumping to Ukraine continues at the moment from the territory of Belarus. If Ukraine does not restore pumping on segments in Novgorod-Volynsky - Brody area, such pumping will also be halted in several hours," the spokesman added.
Pumping over the Ukrainian segment of the Druzhba oil pipeline was already halted last week, from November 15 to 16.
