Transneft received letter on Ukrainian oil transit tariff increase — spokesman

MOSCOW, November 21. /TASS/. Transneft has received a letter from the Ukrainian pipeline operator Ukrtransnafta on the increase of tariffs for oil transit over the Druzhba oil pipeline via the territory of Ukraine in 2023, official spokesman of the Russian oil pipeline operator Igor Dyomin told TASS.

"Yes, we have received such letter and are considering it at present. We are preparing a relevant application to government institutions," the spokesman said.

Bloomberg reported earlier, citing a letter of Ukrtransnafta, that the Ukrainian company is going to increase the tariff on oil transportation over the Druzhba pipeline segment in the country by 2.1 euro to 13.6 euro per metric ton.
