Twitter user growth reaches all-time highs during first week under Musk
Elon Musk closed his purchase of the social media service on October 27
NEW YORK, November 8. /TASS/. Twitter’s daily user growth hit all-time highs during the first full week of billionaire Elon Musk owning the platform, The Verge reported, citing a company document.
According to the news website, Twitter’s monetizable daily user growth has accelerated to more than 20%. "If those numbers are in line with how Twitter reported metrics when it was public, they imply that the service has yet to see a mass exodus under Musk’s ownership," The Verge said.
Musk closed his purchase of the social media service on October 27. According to documents posted on the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s database on October 31, the billionaire planned to dissolve the company’s board of directors. Right after the purchase, Musk fired a number of top executives. Bloomberg reported later that Musk had plans to cut half of Twitter’s workforce.
