MOSCOW, November 7. /TASS/. The number of private investors on the Moscow Exchange surpassed 22 mln people, the trading platform announced on Monday.

According to the report, the number of individuals with brokerage accounts on the Moscow Exchange reached 22.2 mln (+470,400 people) in October 2022, they opened 37.1 mln accounts.

In October 2022, 2.1 mln people made transactions on the stock market. The share of private investors in the volume of trading in shares in October amounted to 79.3%, in the volume of trading in bonds - 23.6%, on the spot currency market - 26.2%, and on the derivatives market - 74.5%.
