Russia reached record-breaking grain harvest — PM

It is noted that the good incremental growth in annual terms is seen in respect of potatoes, greenhouse vegetables, fruits, soybeans and rapeseed

MOSCOW, November 2. /TASS/. Russia has set a new grain harvest record of 150 mln metric tons, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Wednesday.

Harvesting is currently coming to an end in all country’s regions, the Prime Minister noted. "The agricultural sector is demonstrating excellent results in this year. A new grain record was achieved. One hundred and fifty million metric tons of grains have already been threshed," Mishustin said.

The good incremental growth in annual terms is seen in respect of potatoes, greenhouse vegetables, fruits, soybeans and rapeseed, the Prime Minister said. "Such results are a reliable basis to scale up production of agriculture and increase the level of Russia’s food security," Mishustin added.
