MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. Russia lowered natural gas production in January - September 2022 by 12.1% against the like period of the last year to 428 bln cubic meters, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said on Wednesday.
Gas production in September contracted by 26.4% annually but gained 1.4% monthly to 39.1 bln cubic meters.
Liquefied natural gas (LNG) production totaled 24.1 mln tonnes in the reporting period, up 11.9% against the like period in 2021. LNG production in September 2022 stood at 2.5 mln tonnes, down 0.5% in annual terms and up 5.5% monthly.
Associated petroleum gas production had an uptick by 0.7% to 74.3 bln cubic meters in January - September of this year.
