TGC-1 generation down 0.5% to 21.71 bln kWh in 9 months

It is noted that TGC-1 is a leading producer and supplier of electrical and thermal energy in Russia’s North-West region

MOSCOW, October 25. /TASS/. TGC-1 (part of Gazprom Energoholding) in the first nine months of 2022 reduced electricity generation by 0.5% to 21.71 bln kWh, the company reported on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, thermal energy output decreased by 1.9% to 15.49 mln Gcal. Electricity production decreased by 10.5% to 5.04 bln kWh in the Q3, while heat supply increased by 2.4% to 2.21 mln Gcal.

TGC-1 is a leading producer and supplier of electrical and thermal energy in Russia’s North-West region. TGC-1 unites 52 power plants in four subjects of the Russian Federation. Its installed electric capacity reaches 6.9 GW, thermal capacity - 13,500 Gcal/h. Its main shareholders are Gazprom Energoholding (51.79%) and Fortum Power and Heat Oy (29.45%).
