MOSCOW, October 19. /TASS/. Russia was third in crude oil production after the United States and Saudi Arabia in August 2022, the state statistics service Rosstat reported on Wednesday.

Russia’s crude oil production was 10.599 barrels daily in June 2022, while the US lifted 12.09 mln barrels per day and Saudi Arabia produced 11.051 barrels per day.

The country produced in total 353.8 mln tonnes of oil during January - August of this year, up 3.1% in annual terms. Crude oil production in August gained 2.1% in annual terms to 45 mln tonnes.
