WASHINGTON, October 18. /TASS/. The US Commerce Department has issued an order denying export privileges to Russian carrier Ural Airlines, citing what it said were ongoing export violations, Reuters reported on Monday.
The order imposed for six months terminates the right of the air carrier to participate in transactions subject to US export regulations, including export and reexport from the US, reexport of American products from third countries.
Earlier, the Commerce Department denied export privileges to a number of other Russian airlines, including Aviastar-TU, Azur Air, Aeroflot, Pobeda, Rossiya, Utair, Nordwind Airlines. and S7 Airlines.
