ASTANA, October 13. /TASS/. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi considers it important to create financial mechanisms based on regional currencies, he said on Thursday in Astana at the summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).

"It is very important to create joint financial mechanisms using regional currencies," he said.

On Thursday, the capital of Kazakhstan hosts the 6th CICA summit, attended by leaders and representatives of the countries - members of the association.
