"Turkey can be a hub for deliveries of energy resources to Europe," Alexander Novak said
MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. The expansion of infrastructural capacities for the increase of energy supplies to Turkey is highly promising, Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week forum.
"I believe in general that this is very promising, because there are no other countries. It is possible to directly interact with Turkey on supplies of energy resources. In particular, Turkey can also be a hub for deliveries of energy resources to Europe," Novak said.
Russia sees the interest of Turkish companies in increasing purchases of Russian oil, the official said. "Nevertheless, this is a commercial issue that is being solved among companies," Novak added.
