Russia’s oil output in October will remain at 9.9 mln bpd — Novak

MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. Russia plans to maintain the level of oil output of 9.9 mln barrels per day in October, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week.
"We are at the same level, 9.9 mln bpd. We currently have stable production," he said, noting that the same level of production should be expected in October.
Novak said earlier that after the decision of OPEC+ and within its framework Russia in 2022 will produce about 530 mln tons of oil and gas condensate, in 2023 - 490 mln tons.
According to him, Russia's oil production quota under the agreement with the OPEC+ countries will be reduced from the current 11 mln bpd to 10.5 mln bpd.
The countries participating in the OPEC+ agreement at a face-to-face meeting in Vienna agreed to reduce production by 2 mln barrels per day from November, and also extended the deal until the end of 2023.
