ANKARA, October 10. /TASS/. Turkey’s Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Donmez will fly to Russia on October 11 to discuss gas supplies, a source in the country’s Energy Ministry told TASS on Monday.

"The Minister will depart to Russia tomorrow. A number of meetings on different energy issues, particularly on gas supplies, will take place during the visit. Meetings with senior government officials will be held. He is also expected to take part in the Russian Energy Week," the source said.

The Russian Energy Week international forum scheduled from October 12-14 is one of the key venues to discuss current trends in the modern fuel and energy sector. The event is traditionally held at the highest level with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, heads of energy authorities and international organizations, chief executives of international and domestic energy majors and representatives of business, expert and mass media community.
