MOSCOW, October 9. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in the plenary session of the Russian Energy Week on October 12, press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov told TASS on Sunday.

"Indeed, Putin will speak at the plenary session of the Russian Energy Week," he said.

The Russian Energy Week will be held in the capital's Manezh Central Exhibition Hall on October 12-14. Putin traditionally takes part in this event.

The international forum Russian Energy Week is a discussion platform in Russia aimed at discussing challenges and prospects of global energy development. The forum is sponsored by the Roscongress foundation, Russia’s Energy Ministry with support of the Moscow government.
