MOSCOW, August 25. /TASS/. Electricity prices in Europe on the Day Ahead market with supply on August 26 crossed the level of 700 euro per MWh and are record high again, according to Nord Pool electricity exchange data.

Prices soared today to 699.44 euro in Denmark, 707.23 euro in Austria, 700.41 euro in Belgium, 699.4 euro in Germany, 706.32 euro in France, and 693.83 euro in the Netherlands, according to Nord Pool data.

Gas prices in Europe recently surged to more than $3,200 per 1,000 cubic meters for the first time since March 2022.
