The Suzun field’s recoverable reserves total 39 bln cubic meters of gas

MOSCOW, August 25. /TASS/. Rosneft has constructed a pipeline for gas supplies between the Vankor and Suzun fields of the Vostok Oil fields, the top Russian company said in a statement on Thursday.

"Rosneft has completed the construction of the Suzun-Vankor gas pipeline with a gas pumping capacity of 2.2 bln cubic meters per year, and it has started complex trials of facilities of the gas transport system of the Suzun field, which belongs to the most ambitious production project of today’s oil and gas sector, Vostok Oil," the statement said.

The roughly 80-kilometer-long gas pipeline ensures the supply of associated petroleum gas from the Suzun field to the collection point facilities of the Vankor field where it is processed to commercial quality. The Suzun field’s recoverable reserves total 39 bln cubic meters of gas. Gas from both fields is delivered to the single gas transport system of the country to be supplied to consumers, Rosneft noted.
