MOSCOW, August 25. /TASS/. The production of cattle and poultry in Russia gained 5.5% in January-July 2022 year-on-year to 7.3 mln tonnes, the Agriculture Ministry reported via its Telegram channel on Thursday.
"In seven months, the country produced 7.3 mln tonnes of cattle and poultry, up by 5.5% compared with the same period last year," the report said.
Production in sheep and goat raising sectors added 11.3%, swine breeding - 7.2%, poultry breeding - 5.8%, the ministry said, adding that row milk production rose by 3.2% in the reporting period to 11.1 mln tonnes.
