Kazakhstan's GDP growth in 2022 to reach at least 3% — PM

According to government estimates, nominal GDP will rise from $217 bln in 2022 to $253 bln in 2023
NUR-SULTAN, August 23. /TASS/. The authorities of Kazakhstan expect that GDP growth by the end of the year will reach at least 3%, and next year it will reach 4%, Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov announced on Tuesday.
"According to the macroeconomic indicators presented by the Prime Minister, real GDP growth in 2022 will be at least 3%, and in 2023 this figure will reach 4%," the press service of the country's president said.
According to government estimates, nominal GDP will rise from 103.6 trillion tenge ($217 bln) in 2022 to 120.7 trillion tenge ($253 bln) in 2023. At the same time, budget revenues are expected to grow due to an increase in tax revenues from 10.5 trillion tenge ($22 bln) to 13.5 trillion tenge ($28 bln) next year.
