Earlier, it was reported that Coca-Cola HBC AG and their customers in Russia are in the course of depleting stock

KRASNOGORSK, June 16. /TASS/. Deliveries of analogues of highly carbonated drinks Coca-Cola and Fanta to stores in the Moscow region will begin next week, Deputy Prime Minister of the region Georgy Filimonov told TASS on Thursday.

The Megapack company, located in the city of Vidnoye in the Moscow region launched the production of highly carbonated drinks under the Funky Monkey brand. These drinks will replace Coca-Cola and Fanta produced by the American Coca-Cola Corporation. Filimonov added that "the tastes of new drinks were confirmed by the developers during blind tests."

"It is important that the cost of Russian analogues will be 10-15% lower," he added.

Earlier on Thursday, Reuters reported citing the statement of the company’s US-based headquarters, that Coca-Cola HBC AG and their customers in Russia are in the course of depleting stock. As soon as this process ends, Coca-Cola HBC will "no longer produce or sell Coca-Cola or other brands of the Coca-Cola Company in Russia," the company said in its statement.
