MOSCOW, June 9. /TASS/. Rejection of Russian energy resources in recent years appears to be unlikely, President Vladimir Putin said at the meeting with young entrepreneurs.

"As regards abandonment of our energy resources, the probability is low in several years to come and nobody knows what will occur during several years. Nobody will set concrete plugs in wells, there is no such need," Putin said.

Economic conditions are being created at present where it becomes "increasingly more beneficial" for Russia to sell petroleum products and not crude oil, the head of state said. "Obviously, this is the future," he stressed.
